Zinat Malak I‘tzadi (Zinat)
I'tizadi, Zinatulmulk (1891-1921), a poet who was brought up in an intellectual family and became a cultured, dynamic, and well-spoken woman. She composed the majority of her poetry in the genre of ghazal under the nom de plume Zinat (Adornment). Her articles and poetry soon brought her fame and she was able to accompany her contemporaneous poets, e.g. Iraj Mirza, Adib Niyshaburi, and Malik al-Shu'ara' (Muhammad Taqi Bahar). Her few published pieces of poetry include some ghazals that appeared in periodicals and a number of eulogies and versified criticisms of Malik al-Shu'ara' together with the latter's responses to them.
